CSSC Racketlon Returns

This year the venue will be Gosling Sports Park in Welwyn Garden City and the date is the 22nd May 2010...

The competition, in it's third year, is open to CSSC members only. The first competition in 2008 was won by Graham Norton, beating Keith Lesser in the final. Keith then reversed the fortunes in the 2009 final. Racketlon regulars Rakesh Gupta, Niranjan Shimoga & Dinesh Passi all got their first taste of racketlon at the CSSC event. The 2009 event report can be found here.

Who is entitled to Join CSSC?

Anyone who is an employee in a government department or agency, Royal Mail, BT, and other public bodies such as museums, research councils and companies carrying out ex-civil service work and past employees of these organisations who are retired on pension.

How do I Join?

Details of how to join CSSC can be obtained on the CSSC website.

Unlike some single sport competitions within CSSC, it's almost impossible for one player to dominate across all four disciplines and if last year's experience is anything to go by, the standard of competition was very varied, with most players having success at some stage.  The format of the competition means you will get a full days activity and tired legs are guaranteed.

So if you play any of these sports or have played them in the past, why not come along to Gosling Sports Park for a great day. Entry fee is £10

If you are interested in entering please visit the CSSC website & complete the entry form.
